Not shivering at Brooklyn Bridge Park
It was a few degrees above freezing the morning of our engagement shoot, but we barely felt the cold. Ryan and Tatiana are true professionals who made 2 hours fly by in a blur of fun and laughter.

A random (but photogenic) stoop in Brooklyn
Unfortunately, we own neither the stoop nor any of the beautiful flowers on it. One day, though... we'll own some beautiful flowers.

What you don't see here: dozens of random strangers surrounding us, snapping pictures with their cell phones. A special thanks to Sara's aunt for making an awkward experience more comfortable.

Before Michael proposed to Sara at Le Château de Candale
Photo: taken by a very kind employee
After an incredibly delicious dinner at Le Château de Candale, Michael took Sara for what he termed "a nice walk" across the Château's vineyards. Sara wasn't immediately enthusiastic: it was so dark outside that we used cell phones as flashlights to find our path. However, Michael insisted, and Sara was ultimately very glad he did.

Visiting the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in Chengdu

Holding a baby panda, who was only 4 months old at the time! Sara's uncle and aunt graciously paused their lives for an afternoon so we could have this unforgettably adorable experience.

Harvest time at Mayflower Cranberries
Photo: a very talented Dennis Jang
Our good friends, Dennis and Audrey, have a knack for finding interesting things to do; we are fortunate to reap the benefits of their search. Lucky for us, they happen to be stellar photographers as well!

A climb up the West Trapps
Photo: none other than our officiant, Toh Newin
Way back in 2013, Sara introduced Michael to one of her favorite hobbies, rock climbing, and Michael has embraced it. Just a couple years later, we now explore multi-pitch climbs together to our hearts' content.

Michael shows Sara around Vancouver Island

Michael's aunt was kind enough to host us at her house over July 4th weekend last year, and this was just one of many (many) beautiful views Michael's dad and sister showed us.

A walk in the Mohonk Preserve

We went up for a fun hike at the Mohonk Preserve when Michael's dad and dad's wife came to New York for a visit. The fall leaves were beautiful, and Michael was a stellar personal transportation vehicle.
